The Ottawa Lacrosse Club (OLC)
The OLC was originally established in 1852 and then re-established in the 1980's by David Moran of Nepean who played on the Canadian Men's Field Lacrosse Team. Other players in the OLC have played for Team Canada as well as for the Ottawa Rebel and other NLL teams. The Black Sheep, Ottawa's senior men's competitive team, won the Canadian Field Lacrosse Championships (The Victory Cup) in 1999.
The OLC is continuously growing. It has become a driving force behind bringing the sport of field lacrosse to the Ottawa community. There are currently several hundred registered players in the club, led by a group of dedicated volunteers.
